Reddit gives you the best of the internet in one place. Get a constantly updating feed of breaking news, fun stories, pics, memes, and videos just for you. Passionate about something niche? Download Pokemon Fire Red SAVE (128KB) for GBA. The file '[6436]VINCE_S_POKEMON_FIRE_RED_SAVE.SAV' can be downloaded instantly from our GBA Game Saves category. I have a.sgm file for pokemon fire red, because when i try to save a.sav file (in the game) it says that some chip is missing and can't save.

What would you rather have, a shiny Ditto, or a foreign perfect IV one that you can use to breed competitive Pokemon? -Certain Pokemon are not perfect IV, even though they don't have Hidden Power. That's because HP is a valid option to have on this Pokemon, so I wanted to leave you with the option. -Some aren't shiny, I know.

That's because they're probably from Colosseum or some shit. But I gave them the best stats they could possibly have, though it can't be perfect (if you want it to look legitimate). -You'll notice that the items are a little disorganized. I tried to give you guys some special stuff, like exclusive non-Fire Red items, Old Sea Map, Mach/Acro bike (PS: The Item Bag + PC can't hold EVERY single item written in the code of the game. So I gave you only the 'really good' items.) -The Party pokemon are a little messed up. That's because they're the exact team that Twitch Plays Pokemon used to beat the Elite Four. -The last set of 6 Pokemon in Box 14.

I'm pretty sure.sps is a type of gameshark format,.sgm is a save STATE not a save file like.sav Try importing it to VBA as a gameshark file, it's an option next to the importing.sav one, something like import gameshark snapshot. Ah.sps = snapshot maybe?

Added spinda spot and unown form edit to pokedex editor. V1.9 main window ui tweaked.

Added check for data folder. Changed berry cap to 999. Autoconvert 'ー' and '-' into '–'. V1.19 fixed bugged caused by having over the normal maximum of money/coins/BPs v1.18 fixed HO-OH auto name. Removed auto size on tab change in pokemon editor, it caused problems with screen being to small on high DPI settings. V1.17 increased icon update interval.

Fixed bag item limits between verions 99 RSE 999 FRLG (999 berry and pc all versions) attempt to auto detect FR/LG base on keywords in the filename 'Fire' or 'Red' for FR and 'Leaf or 'Green' for LG, if fails shows prompt. Some things might be broken because this build was built from the source code obtained from decompiling the binary of v1.23, and I had to fix alot of errors it caused. V1.23 is included as a fall back for any new bugs. V1.23 changed '–' to '-' in the move list.(different characters, the second is the one you get form the keyboard minus key) v1.22 fixed a minor bug in pokedex. Thanks to Zaz for pointing it out to me. V1.21 another attempt to fix the file not found bug some users are having. V1.20 changed the way the program opens images.

Added EGG (GIFT) to location list. Changed to build with.NET 4.0 v1.16 forgot to hide the dump button after debugging. V1.15 added initial rtc value roll over. Fixed FR/LG item count bug for version select window. V1.14 fixed shedinja HP bug. Fixed FR/LG item count bug. V1.13 tweaked reset rtc values.

As far as I know, like 99% of these are transferable and even tradable. I don't want to say 100% because I don't think anyone (not even me) has taken the time to officially transfer each and every one of them. And yes, all or most of them should have Pokerus and will either be shiny + every legally possible ribbon OR come from a Gamecube game (I think it's XD?), have those exclusive ribbons, and not be shiny. I only did that for some of them (Spearow I think) because I figured they can learn more competitive moves, or in the case of something like Spearow you already have a shiny Fearow so I thought I'd mix things up.

Does this hex edit prevent this problem? Does it still use a 64KB save size except without the save corruption problem? Or does it properly use 128KB save file? It seems to generate a 128KB save file in VBA, but curious to know how it works with AGB_FIRM. A bit of a necrobump but what exactly does this change?

V1.3 fixed FR/LG checksum bug that occurred from the R/S checksum fix. V1.2 fixed party pokemon party data bug. V1.1 fixed pokemon editor window size.

But if you've ever submitted a.3gpkm or 3rd gen.pkm file, you are more than likely someone I should thank. Some things to note: -Pichu will not transfer over with Surf. It CAN legally learn Surf in Fire Red/RSE, but even legit Pichu's with Surf will be locked into staying in 3rd gen -The Jirachi will not transfer over even though it is legit.

They have the same routine (shiny, competitive, all ribbons, Pokerus, etc.). Also this is the first time coming back to this thread and I didn't realize people were responding to it so thank you Slayer for moving it and restoring the lost files! FYI to anyone looking for legit pokemon, all of these are RNGd using RNG Reporter, or outright generated and it is obvious from the sav file itself (Unlimited money, corrupted names on party pokemon, etc). For example, shiny faraway island mew (same TID/SID on a japanese cart?) has a frame that is 127 days and some change (frame 659million) which is average for someone who generates a shiny using algorithm alone. While legal, it is outside of practicality. Hardly the work of someone who actually played the game.

Does this properly allow you to continue past the E4? Does this make the game keep a 128KB save file properly? And AGB_FIRM can handle it properly? Because initially it was thought AGB_FIRM didn't support 128KB save files so thats why people were resorting to using a patch to change the save type to 64KB, but that caused a problem with the game deleting the save file after the E4. Does this hex edit prevent this problem? Does it still use a 64KB save size except without the save corruption problem?

Hello everyone! I don't know if there was any demand for this or if anyone really cared, but I've spent what little free time I had over the past 6-7 months creating this. It's a Fire Red save file you can open/import in any GBA emulator, and it contains every single pokemon, shiny, with legitimate stats, holding every legal ribbon it can own, having perfect IV's/EVs/ with Smogon competitive movesets. Basically anything you can possibly think of, it's on here. All completely 'legal' in the sense that it will (should) pass all legality checkers and will transfer over to the newer generations without any red flags. NFE Pokemon like Charmander are level 98 and Charmeleon 99 in case you want to evolve them.

I've got a different ROM, and i'll try it later on. If that doesn't work, then it's the emulator. I'm not stupid, i know what i'm doing =P But I'm using VBA at the moment, and it has played up with pokemon before. For instance, Pokemon Ruby and Saphire wouldn't work on it at all.! If i find out that it is the dump, how woud i fix that??I didn't say you are stupid. I never say to anybody in my life, indeed. No, it have nothing to do with emulator at all.

Afterwards, the.sav files will always be visible and 'My Boy!' Will use them. Its actually quite hard and confusing but I figured it out. Follow my steps exactly: • First you need to run the gba file and save in game. • Download a save of the internet, it cannot be.SAV or any other type.

• Create another new folder within the folder you made in step 1 • Copy the emulator and the rom into the folder you created in step 9. DO NOT COPY ANY OF THE OTHER FILES • Open the copy of the emulator you copied in the last step (i.e.

This Hack is a saving function fix for all the pokemon gba games, for all languages, for all versions (1.0 / 1.1). Use neat scanner without account. [Fire Red, Leaf green, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald] This hack was initially made by RIKU (gbatemp) then dumped and improved by Yafee and AmeenX! Usage: Warning: - Don't use Sram patch, just apply this hex mod and you're good to go - If you wanna apply this to a 32MB hack rom, apply the ROM hack ips to the pokemon rom then apply this hex mod! Open the desired ROM in a hex editor and find the following string. A bit of a necrobump but what exactly does this change? Does this properly allow you to continue past the E4? Does this make the game keep a 128KB save file properly?

V1.12 fixed bug in name edit. V1.11 tweaked trainer edit ui. Added play time edit. Added rtc edit.

Hardly the work of someone who actually played the game.

Go to the folder you created in step 1). Load the 128KB save that was created in step 8. At the confirmation screen, click 'Yes' • After the initial intro screen, you should get an error message like 'The save file is corrupted. The previous save file will be load.' That is correct behavior, so proceed to the next step • Choose to continue with the existing save file • Now use the in-game save again (i.e. Press Enter to open the in-game menu and choose Save) • Reset the emulator ( File -> Reset) • When the rom loads again, there should be no error message pertaining to the save. If you close the emulator, you will find a 128KB save file corresponding to the rom in the newest folder you made (in step 9).

DO NOT COPY ANY OF THE OTHER FILES • Open the copy of the emulator you copied in the last step (i.e. In the newest folder). Do not load the rom • Change the save type to Flash 128K by going to Options -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128K • If you are playing Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, you should turn on the Real Time Clock by going to Options -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock • Load the copy of the rom found in the newest folder you made - it should be the one that shows up automatically on the screen • There should be NO white screen. Now go to File -> Import -> Battery File.

Note, i ripped this guide from another site, and i don't care if the punk cuts a **** about it, i edited out all his lamer illegal bs and made it ngemu friendly. NEW MEMORY HACK METHOD Emuforums user DoctorDrew32 kindly pointed out that there is another method. It appears someone calling themselves 1337BERhAXORSeBe has found a way to memory hack the rom allowing one to save in both games which means that now all saves can be recovered. That is with the exception of anyone that has only been using save-states and who doesn't have one from before the last save chance before the you enter to battle the E4, your game progress is still wasted I'm afraid. But for the rest of you there's this.

KazoWAR created A-save, the most useful 3rd gen save editor I've found. Other save editors used in this endeavor include Metropolis, Encyclopedia, Ciro's, and Pokestock I really wish I could thank more people, I'm sorry. But if you've ever submitted a.3gpkm or 3rd gen.pkm file, you are more than likely someone I should thank. Some things to note: -Pichu will not transfer over with Surf. All pokemon logged. All pokemon in their final forms at level 100 with their stats maxed out, highest IVs/EVs. All pokemon have been obtained 'legitly', meaning no legendaries caught in at level 5 etc.

If that doesn't work you could check shuny's online save file converter. Might be able to convert it, though I'm not sure if it supports the format. I reccomend using saves over gamefaqs ones but as it's a Pokemon save I assume it has something in the save you really want?

Now go to File -> Import -> Battery File. Click on the icon with the folder and an upward-pointing arrow (i.e.

This is a guide on how to recover Pokemon saves made using the wrong save settings (i.e. Flash 64K instead of Flash 128K). At this moment, I cannot fully guarantee that it will work under all circumstances, but chances are that the following procedure will produce viable results. Required files • A save state that was made using the Flash 64K save type • An unpatched version of the rom of the game used to create the save state above (note that you may need to re-dump if you patched your existing rom) • A copy of VisualBoyAdvance Instructions • Create a new folder somewhere on your hard drive • Copy the save state, the rom, and the emulator into the new folder you created in step 1. NO OTHER FILES SHOULD BE IN THAT FOLDER • Open the emulator, but do not load the rom.

If you look in the new folder you created in step 1, you should see a 128KB save file corresponding to your rom. • Create another new folder within the folder you made in step 1 • Copy the emulator and the rom into the folder you created in step 9.

This was the Pokemon that took the longest to obtain. In the large folder with the individual.pkm files you will see a non-shiny version of Jirachi that WILL transfer to future gens. That's because even though you CAN get a shiny Jirachi (extremely, extremely rare, and if you see one irl it's probably hacked), Nintendo did not intend for you to have one, lol. -Ditto is not shiny. That's because it's 6IV.
