The game has significantly improved, as now the right stick controls the camera (before, R2/L2 were bound to the camera), and Sora handles a lot better in the field. Adding to this, it made several more changes to adapt to the series after the fact, which is a very good thing, as the original was clunky at times. The challenge added to the fun. And really, that's why we play games. To be challenged AND have fun. FINAL MIX - 9 Now, Re:Chain of Memories on the other hand, was a disappointment. I didn't like the card battling system when I played the game on the GBA, and I still don't like it now, all these years later.

Could you also provide information to me about how you dumped the files, and just out of curiosity, what kind of processor you have?I tried with the Boot Game method selecting the folder and also with the SELF / ELF Boot method.

There are ways to exploit the game, of course, to make it much easier, but if you are playing honest like me, you will be pleasantly surprised that such a cute game can have a difficulty equal to that of several of today's games, and perhaps harder. FINAL MIX - 3 Re:Chain of Memories disappoints me one last time, as this game is hilariously broken. Sonic Blade all day long. You can learn this sleight early, and if you are smart and use plenty of potions. And it works all throughout the game. Sonic Blade is incredibly broken.

However, there are some areas where there is a full-screen effect that causes that framebuffer to be displayed permanently.

Ill be looking for a new solution. Q: Someones clothing or a background texture has turned red or brown/ their face disappears! A: This may be solved by unchecking the 'Strict Rendering mode' option. Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Original release date: September 29, 2009/May 30, 2009 How Necessary to the Overall Plot: Not incredibly vital. The end of the game sets up Roxas’ part in Kingdom Hearts 2, but playing through the entirety of this Roxas-focused story isn’t all that key to grasping the larger picture of the franchise. Fills in the lines of characterization for Organization XIII and for Roxas. Love the members of that group?

Kingdom Hearts is a very enjoyable game and any fan of RPGs or those that like a good story for a RPG are in for a treat with this game. James rates this game: 5/5 Sora, a 14-year-old boy whose world is shattered when a violent storm separates him from his two closest friends, Riku and Kairi. Sora, while searching for his friends in a strange and mysterious land, meets Court Wizard Donald and Captain Goofy, protectors of the Disney Castle, who are on a mission to find King Mickey. The three learn of ominous creatures known as the Heartless, beings without hearts derived from an unknown dimension and, as it turns out, the ones responsible for the devastating storm. Upon discovering the link between the Heartless, the storm and the disappearance of the King, Sora, Donald and Goofy join forces to recover Sora's friends, return the King to his rightful position and save the universe from the Heartless.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories [ ]. Main article: The story takes place near the end of, continuing parallel to. The story is told from the perspective of, following his daily life within and his relationship with fellow Organization member; it also introduces a fourteenth member,, who becomes friends with the former two. 358/2 Days does not appear in playable form, and instead features the game adapted into 2 hours and 50 minutes worth of cinematic retelling, and features trophy support. Development [ ] In August 2011, Nomura expressed desire to release a high definition re-release of the game though he had yet to confirm such plans. The idea for a high definition re-release preceded plans for re-release, and was a focus for two Square Enix programmers for over a year. In September 2012, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix for release in Japan on the PlayStation 3.

RCoM - 7 And then there's the newest one of the bunch, 358/2 Days, which as noted before, was a DS exclusive until the time of this compilation's release. I should note at this point but a full remake of 358/2 Days was planned but had to be scrapped, and thus replaced with the cutscenes due to time constraints. I think it's safe to say I was disappointed, but let's focus on what 358/2 Days does offer us. It offers us beautiful graphics for one, which should be expected of a game that is entirely cutscenes and text logs. For a game that was originally made for the DS, the cutscenes on the PS3 game look so far better, that if you didn't know better, you'd think this was 358/2 Days debut in the series. Don't get me wrong, it could look better, and the PS3's capabilities aren't even challenged a bit. But you have to admire the work that goes into upscaling a game from such a small screen to the big screen while making it look hundreds of times better.

If you're writing a comment and want to obscure some text as spoiler, just do the following. >!Don't read this! Not just yet, PS3 emulation still has a ways to go before it's good and ready. It'll probably be a couple more years still before it reaches PCSX2 standards. But if your PC can read Blu-Ray discs, then I guess you could get the games now and just wait until the emulation gets to the point where being able to play them is an option.

There's one thing I was most interested to see when this compilation was first announced. That was whether the graphics would look considerably aged despite being remastered. When I purchased the Ratchet and Clank HD Remaster over a year ago, I came away disappointed because the games didn't look touched up all that much and felt too much like the originals, in that it didn't deserve to be updated at all if that was the treatment it was going to get. Final Mix's graphical updates may not seem readily apparent, because the game keeps the cutesy look it is known for, and nothing looks terribly out of place. In this respect, the game passes, because the goal of any remaster (on a graphical front) should be to simply bring the game from the past to the present, without making it feel awkward. This is more impressive when you consider that the original game assets were lost by the developers, and had to remake a lot of things from the ground up.

Ive submitted a ticket about this issue to the devs. (, 07:47 AM)lastdance Wrote: (, 05:58 PM)Terra97 Wrote: (, 08:46 PM)lastdance Wrote: (, 05:00 PM)Terra97 Wrote: I got black screen after the first video (the video after the selection of the difficulty mode).I just helped someone else with this, try navigating to KH 1.5 PS3_GAME USRDIR KH1Movie en, and renaming your OPN.pam. Now I have these two bugs: • After playing for a while the audio turns off, sometimes that happen also at the start, when I run the iso, randomly. • The image overlay bug described there: trolol[.] normally the effect lasts for a short moment (and appears to simply overlay the last image from a recent framebuffer?).

If you're writing a comment and want to obscure some text as spoiler, just do the following. >!Don't read this! Alright, basically, that isn't the PS3 version. That's a launcher that will play the PS2 versions, which you really. All you'd need is the.iso files and PCSX2, this just makes it look more 'natural'. Basically, KHFM (and probably Re:CoM, though I haven't seen many people talk about emulating it) plays very smoothly on PCSX2, and you can upscale to your heart's desire/CPU's processing limit.

It also includes a remaster of Re:Chain of Memories, as well as cutscenes from 358/2 Days, which until now, only appeared on the Nintendo DS. The goal of this review is to see how this remastered version of Kingdom Hearts stacks up against games of this time period, to see how it has aged, and to compare KH:FM to the original version, to see whether or not a purchase of this game can be justified to whoever may be interested. The format of this review will be as follows. I will run down the list of categories.
